MSDS Sheets

MSDS is short for Material Safety Data Sheet. They are detailed information sheets that are prepared by the manufacturer of products to describe the physical and chemical properties, health hazards, routes of exposure, precautions for safe handling and use, emergency and first-aid procedures, and control measures. Information found on an MSDS sheet helps in the selection of safe products and prepares employers and employees to respond effectively to daily exposure situations as well as to emergency situations.
